The pod supports outdoor learning for children and communities while addressing one of the key challenges facing schools: space. The Pod features a living wall and habitat wall, helping children develop new skills and understand how habitats and planting can increase biodiversity. Fully off-grid, the Pod is powered by its own solar panels and battery.

The OutSeed Pod features a suite of sensors that capture a diverse range of environmental and biodiversity data points. These sensors measure temperature, irradiance, humidity, pressure, air quality and pollinator counts. The data is made available through a learning-centred data dashboard.

The OutSeed Hub is an environmental and biodiversity data dashboard. As a core learning interface, it enables students to explore real environmental and biodiversity data. The dashboard provides a child-friendly, immersive experience, while also offering detailed data access for teachers and sponsor companies.

Our approach
We deliver measurable impact by following a repeatable three-stage process:
- Beneficiaries: the school or community receives a ready-to-use outdoor learning pod, plus education resources at zero cost
- Sponsors: the sponsor invests in a hub solution to the benefit of a local school or community group
- Knowledge and data: we deliver measurable benefits and valuable data for both the school and the funding sponsor
